MXTP
I read this in the article mlive.com wrote about the MXTP closing and thought it was pretty neat. J.R. and his wife are something else. They felt trapped in their business and encourage others not to stick with something they feel trapped in.
“J.R. points to one of his tattoos — a pig with wings. ‘If you look close,’ he says, ‘the pig has wings made of pieces of recycled barn wood and chicken feathers. He’s trying to escape the farm. The pig decided he’d make his own wings, if he couldn’t fly.’ He smiles. ‘That’s kind of how we are.’”
“You’re safe now, buddy.”
